Investing in SiteVue: Turning the Factory Floor Into Data

A camera-and-AI startup out of Nashville is building the insight layer that the next generation of industrial automation will run on.

Most of what happens on a factory floor is never measured. Where a defect actually entered the line. How long a task really takes. What caused a near-miss. Operations leaders make high-stakes staffing, quality, and safety decisions with almost none of this data - because getting it has always meant expensive fixed cameras, manual audits, or simply guessing.

That's not a minor inefficiency. In frontline industrial work - automotive manufacturing, food production, and beyond - quality defects, safety incidents, and lost labor hours are some of the largest and least visible cost drivers a plant has.

We're excited to share that Untapped Ventures has invested in SiteVue AI's $7.5M seed round, co-led by Overture and Penny Jar Capital, alongside Silence, Spring Bank, Mana Ventures, Outset Capital, and WaterStone.

What SiteVue Does

SiteVue designs proprietary fixed-mounted and wearable AI-powered cameras, paired with custom-trained computer vision models, that turn raw footage into real-time, actionable operational data - without requiring any changes to a plant's existing infrastructure or workflows.

The Product, in Three Pieces

  1. Bottleneck and cycle-time tracking. Continuous, automated visibility into how long tasks actually take and where a line is slowing down.

  2. Defect and quality detection. Custom-trained models flag product defects, mispacks, and mislabels in real time, on the line - and when an issue surfaces, the system can alert a supervisor or even stop the line automatically.

  3. Safety and full traceability. PPE compliance monitoring and near-miss capture, plus a timestamped visual record that lets a team trace a quality issue back to its exact station, shift, or cycle in minutes instead of days.

Why We Invested

The founder. Andrew Jebasingh is an ex-Amazon, ex-Meta engineering leader who runs SiteVue with a hands-on intensity that's rare at this stage. That kind of founder-market proximity shows up directly in how fast the company is moving - from founding in August 2025 to a 37-person team designing and manufacturing its own cameras and training its own models in-house, serving customers across automotive manufacturing and food production, with retail, construction, chemical, and oil and gas already underway.

A genuinely proprietary data asset. The wedge isn't the dashboard - it's the data behind it. Camera footage of real industrial work, captured on the line, is a dataset that can't be scraped or synthesized. It compounds with every new deployment, and it's the kind of asset that gets more defensible, not less, as the company scales.

Why This Market, Now

Industrial operators are sitting on their largest cost and risk drivers - quality,

safety, and labor efficiency - with almost no objective data about how they actually play out on the floor. Industry estimates put the AI vision inspection market at roughly $32 billion in 2025, growing at close to 23% annually as manufacturers move toward zero-defect standards and cheaper edge computing makes automated inspection more accessible than manual checking. Automotive and food and beverage - the two verticals SiteVue started in - are already among the largest segments of that shift. As AI reshapes how physical work gets measured, planned, and eventually automated, the companies that own the data layer today are the ones positioned to shape what comes next. SiteVue sits squarely at that layer.

Founder Story

Before SiteVue, Andrew spent years at Amazon and Meta, where - as Overture partner Leila Pirbay has put it - learned how to make genuinely complicated hardware feel effortless to use. That instinct shows up in SiteVue's whole approach: cameras and models built to disappear into a plant's existing workflow rather than demand a new one. Penny Jar Capital partner Rich Scudellari has pointed to the same trait from a different angle, noting that Andrew and his team build for each customer's specific problem rather than selling one generic platform. It's a combination - deep hardware fluency plus a refusal to ship something generic - that shows up directly in how fast SiteVue has moved from founding to a real, paying customer base.

"SiteVue AI reduces waste, cost, and carbon, while improving efficiency and human safety."

Traction + External Validation

Since founding in August 2025 out of Nashville, Tennessee, SiteVue has:

  • Grown to 37 employees designing and manufacturing its own cameras and training its own AI models in-house

  • Seen customers typically grow profit margins by more than 3% in under three months of deployment, including up to a 20% improvement in floor efficiency, up to a 10% increase in product quality, and up to a 10% recovery of labor hours

  • Delivered up to a 90% decrease in safety incidents at deployed sites, with some customers reporting a 10x return on investment

  • Landed customers including Foster Farms, FPL Foods, and XOS Trucks, initially focused on automotive manufacturing and food production and now expanding into retail, construction, chemical, and oil and gas - both domestically and internationally

Foster Farms plant manager Tim Romero has described SiteVue as giving his team constant visibility into what's happening on the line - replacing manual tracking methods with a clearer, real-time picture that's helped improve both safety and productivity.

What Comes Next

SiteVue is continuing to expand into new industrial verticals and geographies while deepening the computer-vision work that underpins its product today. We're proud to be investors alongside Overture, Penny Jar Capital, and the rest of the syndicate as the team builds toward that next stage.

FAQ

What is SiteVue AI?

SiteVue AI is an industrial AI company that uses fixed and wearable cameras paired with computer vision models to give manufacturers and other industrial operators real-time data on cycle times, quality defects, and safety compliance on the factory floor. It's designed to deploy without requiring changes to a facility's existing infrastructure or workflows.

SiteVue AI raised a $7.5 million seed round, announced in August 2026, co-led by Overture and Penny Jar Capital, with participation from Silence, Spring Bank, Mana Ventures, Outset Capital, WaterStone, and Untapped Ventures.

SiteVue AI was founded by Andrew Jebasingh, an ex-Amazon and ex-Meta engineering leader, in August 2025. The company is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

SiteVue AI customers typically see profit margins grow more than 3% within three months of deployment, along with up to a 20% improvement in floor efficiency, up to a 10% increase in product quality, and a 90% decrease in safety incidents. Some customers report a 10x return on investment.

SiteVue AI initially focused on automotive manufacturing and food production, including customers like Foster Farms, FPL Foods, and XOS Trucks, and is expanding into retail, construction, chemical manufacturing, and oil and gas.

Untapped Ventures invested based on founder Andrew Jebasingh's execution speed and SiteVue's proprietary dataset of real industrial work, which the firm views as a durable data advantage in the broader shift toward AI-driven industrial automation.
